Company Background

Established in 1992, Mansergh Graham Landscape Architects Ltd has offices in Hamilton and Dunedin. This consulting practice offers a professional, personal service, and has completed a large number of successful and award winning projects for businesses, local authorities, government departments, institutions and developers. Mansergh Graham has built up an enviable record of successfully completed projects recognised by professional colleagues as highly innovative but appropriate and tailored to the clients requirements. All projects are managed by directors Dave Mansergh or Michael Graham and supported by a team of landscape architects backed by administration and technical staff on contract as required.

Mansergh Graham have received the following industry awards:

  • NZILA/Monier Charlie Challenger Award for The Tongariro and Erua Landscape and Recreation Study as an innovative approach to large scale comprehensive strategic planning for a significant tract of land with outstanding scenic qualities and recreation potential.

Directors

Michael Graham BSc BLA (Registered NZILA Landscape Architect)
Michael is a director of Mansergh Graham Landscape Architects and a corporate member of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects. Michael has extensive experience in urban assessment, roading and state highway development, landscape and visual assessment, streetscape and urban design, subdivision design, project administration, large scale landscape planning, detailed design and specification, project management and community consultation. Michael’s experience and expertise in urban design is highly valued and Michael currently sits on the Hamilton City Urban Design Panel. Michael has gained wide experience working in Heritage Parks, for other landscape consultancies and local government.

Dave Mansergh Dip.P&RM (Distinction) BLA(Hons) MLA (Registered NZILA Landscape Architect)
Dave is a director of Mansergh Graham Landscape Architects and a corporate member of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects. Dave has extensive experience in landscape and visual assessment, roading and state highway development, power generation and transmission developments, detailed design, project administration, site rehabilitation, recreation and facility planning, site design and large scale landscape planning. As a result of Dave’s breadth of experience and expertise, he has become much sought after for projects which are to be contested in the Environment Court. Dave has also gained experience in resource management and resource based recreation planning and management within Tongariro and Fiordland National Parks.
