Diamond Creek Subdivision

Mansergh Graham was engaged by Diamond Creek Farm to provide landscape design and assessment advice in support of the proposed re-zoning of land adjacent to Te Uku Village for a higher density of subdivision.


The project included the preparation of several subdivision concepts, at different development densities, to demonstrate how intensification in and around the existing village core could be achieved without adversely affecting existing rural and urban amenity values. Work included the identification of suitable lots and building platforms, ecological restoration and mitigation planting aimed at integrating the proposed development into the surrounding landscape, pedestrian and cycle links between the development and the village core and consideration of urban design requirements.
