Mansergh Graham was engaged to prepare the hard and soft landscape concept plans in support of a design and build submission for the Taupo Eastern Arterial project.
The overall landscape intent for TEA was to create a landscape composed of elements which reference the unique character of the Taupo landscape. The concept design is detailed with graphic imagery, representing local iconic landscape features, and natural and cultural patterns. The plant signatures proposed reference the ecological history of the site, and were to be eco-sourced. All planting complied with NZTA clear zone requirements.
The project included:
- Overview Landscape Design
- Hard and Soft Landscape Conceptual Design
- Photomontage of the Waikato River Bridge Concept
- Cost Estimation
